BREAKING: Shock in some circles as Trans cavers revealed to be as competent as anyone else

After years of bewildering statements by a minority of transphobic cavers, extensive evidence recently collated by the University of Settle has been shown to prove what we all already knew - that transgender cavers are as competent as the rest of us.

The news prompted shock, anger and disbelief in some minority caving circles, with one anonymous user, a self-proclaimed 'Expert on other people's gender identity' commenting:

"I just don't understand it. Doesn't the cave know when one of them is inside it? How can it just let them in there?"

Reports coming from UKC indicated that a swathe of cardiac arrests prompted by the revelation were believed to have caused at least 3 armchair committees to be wiped off the map. Spokespersons for the affected committees indicated that there was no intention to replace any of them, as they were all useless anyway.
